Texas
Texas primaries were held last Tuesday. Lacking sufficient volunteers for full blanket canvassing, we focused on the delegate process and party restoration.
I am the coordinator of the grassroots in DFW, Texas, and coordinate as well with the groups in the other state metro areas. My team was most recently responsible for delegate data tracking and mapping in north Texas and disseminating delegate instructions and training information statewide. I wrote the first drafts of most of the resolutions that were adopted statewide in the precincts.
We are still processing data but believe we achieved hard majorities in
several major areas of the state. The convention process is just
beginning, but we expect a significant number of the eventual Texas
delegation to be Ron Paul supporters.
